Après avoir traversé une bonne partie de l'Australie, nous devions aussi montrer des photos des gens qui la peuplent. L'Australie est très cosmopolite et vit grâce à une constante immigration. Beaucoup d'Australiens sont d'origine européenne, mais ces dernières années le nombre d'immigrants originaires d'Asie est en augmentation.
Nachdem wir durch einen Großteil Australiens gereist sind, wollten wir auch Fotos von dessen Einwohnern zeigen. Das sehr kosmopolitische Australien lebt durch eine stete Einwanderung. Viele Australier stammen aus Europa, aber in den letzten Jahren wandern auch immer mehr Asiaten ein.
After travelling through many parts of Australia, we wanted to show some pictures of Australians. The cosmopolitan Australia is living from a constant immigration. Many Australians are of European origin but in the last years more and more immigrants are coming from Asia.
Les vrais Australiens sont les Aborigènes, qui vivent sur ce continent depuis des milliers d'années. Submergés par le nombre d'Australiens issus de l'immigration, leur situation actuelle n'est pas très enviable: soit ils essaient de vivre comme leurs ancêtres, mais sont victimes des maladies des blancs, de l'alcool et de la violence, soit ils essaient de s'intégrer à la société occidentale, mais peu y arrivent. Les photos qui suivent montrent les deux types d'Aborigènes.
Die authentischen Australier sind die Aborigenes, die seit Jahrtausenden auf dem Kontinent leben. Von der Überzahl der eingewanderten Australier überrollt, ist ihre heutige Lage nicht sehr rosig: entweder sie versuchen wie ihre Vorfahren zu leben und sind Opfer der Krankheiten der Weißen, des Alkohols und der Gewalt oder sie versuchen, sich der westlichen Gesellschaft zu integrieren, aber es gelingt wenigen von ihnen. Folgende Fotos zeigen die zwei Arten Aborigenes.
The true Australians are the Aborigenes, who have been living on the continent for
thousands of years. But their situation among millions of immigrated Australians is not easy: either they try to live like their ancestors and are victims of the diseases of the whites, of
alcohol and violence, or they try to adapt to the western kind of life, but not many succeed. The following pictures show both types of Aborigenes.
